Philly Spring Cleanup
On April 10, 2010, Wharton Partners participated in the Philly Spring Cleanup. The partners helped out by cleaning and beautifying the Schuykill River Path between Chestnut and Market Street. We cleaned up garbage, leaves and other debris from the fall and winter and then laid down mulch. It was a lot of hard work, but the end result was very satisfying. Many Wharton students and partners, along with other members of the Philadelphia community enjoy the river trail. Now Wharton Partners can see the fruit of their efforts every time they use the trail.

Mother’s Care Coalition Fundraiser
On April 18, 2010, Wharton Partners gathered in Rittenhouse Square for a brunch bidding the second year partners good bye and good luck as their student’s graduate and they move on to life after Wharton. The Partners used this opportunity to give back to the Philadelphia community as well by fundraising for the Mother’s Care Coalition of Philadelphia. The partners held a raffle and raised over $600 for the organization. This money goes towards improving maternal and child health and well being in high needs populations.
