PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Many people in Phildelphia do not have cars or choose not to use them at times because of parking difficulties and inconvenience. SEPTA is a common alternative. SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) has bus, subway, and trolley lines throughout the city. You can buy tokens at some subway stations and at various businesses around the city. Always keep a supply of tokens and/or quarters on hand.
